Lassi is famous for the two most beautiful sandy beaches in kefalonia, Makris Gialos and Platis Gialos, renowned as being some of the best in all of Greece, with great facilities including watersports, sun beds and beach bars and some less crowded ones such as Gradakia, Mediterranne, Maistrato and Ames beach.

Lassi is perfectly located in the best place of Kefalonia, very closed to both airport and Argostoli, the island capital. It has plenty of tavernas and restaurants where you can taste special flavors, cafes and tourist shops of its own and in the evenings you may head into Argostoli, either on foot or by taxi.

Beaches:

Makris Gyalos – a long stretch of golden sand situated just outside Argostoli

Platis Gyalos – a well-organised beach with crystal clear waters.

Tourkopodaro Beach, Paliostafida Beach, and Fanari Beach – three small sandy beaches for those who prefer beach life on a smaller scale.

There are also many isolated, secluded sandy coves
